I have nothing especially witty to say except I need to diet and exercise and this is my journey.

Today I was very tired. Only got in 20 minutes on my exercise bike.
I worked outside weeding my flower bed for a couple of hours.

Hi Angelwings,

I think hour of weeding and then 20 on the bike is a good workout day.

Today I have done 45 minutes on my exercise bike and hoping to get more in because my eating hasn't been that great today.

well angel that day is only half over, each minute is a chance at a fresh start, don't give up on the day yet.

45 minutes is terrific!

Angel you are doing terrific! Give yourself a little space in the first couple of weeks. You're learning how to do something new and we make mistakes when we learn. In fact, it's hard to learn anything without making mistakes. I've been teaching people for over 25 years - I know!

Thank you both for your kind words!

I also ended up going for a 2 mile walk. It is getting nicer out every day
so I am hoping to get more walking in. Sunshine motivates me to get outside.

I struggle so much with my eating. I am an emotional eater. It's not because I am hungry. Just can't figure out how to just stop when I am in that state of mind.

Today is a beautiful warm day!
Just seeing that sun makes you feel good!
I got in my Curves workout for today.
Not sure what else I am doing today but at least I feel good
because of working out.

You are doing great with the exercise! I love the Leslie Sansone walks. I have 2 dvds, and my favorite is the 4 mile "Super Challenge".

Have you thought about writing out your food for the day? It helps me a lot to see what good things I have, what not so good things I ate, and see where I can add/delete/upgrade my foods. If you are an emotional eater, write down how you are feeling before you reach for the snacks. Or just hop on here and read a couple journals.

My arms are so tired I can barely type lol

Food is still out of control but I am trying every day to eat better. I can't
journal it yet.

WAY TO GO ON THE :ex: .. just a suggestion it MIGHT help you if you did note what you are eating in your Journal .. it often helps to see where we are needing to IMPROVE ..

Keep your focus on your goals and KNOW THAT YOU CAN AND WILL ACHIEVE THOSE GOALS .. Monica

Monica when I journal my food I always end up giving up because I am so disgusted with myself. So sorry I need to tackle one thing at a time and right now it is exercise.

Spending the day outside today gardening.
Got in Biggest Loser Cardio 1 and 2
Got in my 10000 steps for the day

Spent most of the day turning up the garden and digging out weeds. Didn't get in my 10000 steps or get an exercise video in today.

Thanks ! Now if I could control my eating things could start looking pretty good!
Did pretty good today
Breakfast- oatmeal, 1 cup milk
Lunch-ham sandwich with mayo, 1 cup soup,2 plums
Dinner- handful of almonds, 2 toast, 2 eggs
Snack-Sunflower seeds
