View Full Version : Just your average sad thought for the day...
I was just reading the tight jeans topic and I realized something kind of sad.
I will NEVER move down another size in jeans or any other pants probably.
Well I can live with that I suppose. Not like I need to buy all new clothes. :)

Massielita 12-08-00, 09:16 PM Fox I am not sure I understand why you will not be able to wear a smaller size of jeans?

I won't be able to fit it past my huge hips, even if I do lose weight on my tummy.

Didn't you say you could run a 5k? How much do you need to lose? I'm training to be on cross country as soon as I lose this weight.
I hope I can do smaller jeans.. I want to be 30 waist or 32 waist.

Cross country is my sport that I've devoted my high school sports life to. ;) Yea, I've run the 5-K about 10 times this last cc season.
I'm not going by pounds how much I need to lose, because that would be unreasonable for me. I would not be able to tell whether I lost fat wieght or muscle weight. Seriously, I gained about 8 pounds in cross country this fall, and that all had to be muscle. Well my goal is to have a tight stomach, which is possible for me but I have to work for it. I just want to make sure the weight I lose is not muscle weight. 'Cuz I need that muscle for track and cc next fall. :) So I don't really care too much what the scale tells me, as long as I can lose some fat, I'm happy. =)

Thanks everyone.. :)
I can't let anything keep me from achieving my goals. :)
(one of my academic goals was accomplished when I got a 98% in Biology on my semester grade.)
Now it's time to go to the gym and work out! :)

kskaranouh 12-16-00, 11:14 AM Hey, I saw your picture Fox and you look great! Are you sure that you aren't just being a little too self conscious!?!I know that when I was in high school(I also was on the track team) I was always worried about having a flat stomach and I used to think that I was fat when I was a bean pole!I just have to say that I think you look awesome and if you can tuck your shirt into your jeans and still be able to see your toes(LOL) then you are doing just fine. You sound like you are really into exercise and that is great.I wish I had kept exercising through my early twenties.....I would have an awesome body right now.Oh well, live and learn! :)

discomama 12-16-00, 02:00 PM Kimberley, you are right! When I see pictures of when I looked like Fox I am so sorry I didn't appreciate it! I can't believe I thought I was still not "good enough", but of course I was! Fox, I know each pound is a worry for you, but don't forget to appreciate how you look now.
