Hi all,
I just read Gotta_keep_tryin's post about breakfast. It made me want to know more of what you eat for all meals. I find myself in a rut for ideas. especially lunch. Maybe we could share ideas for meals. Just an idea. What do you think??

hey Caroline...

What program (if any particular one) are you following???? I am on the low carb diet and so my meals can consist of salads (topped with steak or chicken), any type of meat, limited veggies...

Today I had a small can of green beans mixed with mushrooms...... the green beans were 40 cal, 0 fat, and 8 grams of carbs per can.. the mushrooms (I had one quarter of the jar) per jar are 60 cal, 0 fat, and 8 carbs.....

I love veggies....hope this helps some.....

I'm doing mini-meals, all these are around l00-200 cals each:

turkey hot dog with saurcraut
veggie soup
apples & peanut butter
egg-beaters with veggies
tortilla with no fat refried beans & salsa
cottage cheese and peaches
yogurt and granola
pizzas with toast, no-fat cheese and sauce

I have pledged myself to have a veggie (high fibre) soup, veggies or salad with luch and dinner each day as a new years resolution. So I usually have soup and a turkey sandwich (on high fibre, whole grain bread). or a Salad and maybe chicken breast and a pudding.. Or cheese on whole wheat bread (high fibre again) and barley/veggie soup..

Thanks for all the great ideas!! Fozzie, I am basing my dieting loosely on WW123. I still keep an eye on calorie intake also.
So far I am doing ok but getting bored with same old food choices. Thanks again all!!

Yesterday I had a Lean Cusine meal. Two fat grams and 300cals. This morning I'm making veggie soup and will freeze some in ziplock bags for other days.
Tonight fish, salad and sauted squash and tonight an orange or an apple.
Blessings, Babs
