As silly as this may sound...I have discovered that when you are dieting( for lack of a better word) you really enjoy your meals. I use to fill my face with just about whatever was there .. but now planning my meals and actually looking forward to what I am going to have next ..makes even those carrot sticks taste so yummy....

I don't know why this happens but you are so true. Everything seems to taste so good when your planning your meals ahead i'm just going back to dieting for the 10001 times. But i find when you take time for planning makes all the difference no fast grab foods so you have to plan. Anything worth doing takes time. Good Luck.

Taking the time to plan and prepare good meals for yourself, I think, make you feel taken care of. I also think that when you're eating mindlessly, that your focus is somewhere else (the emotions) rather than on the food.

I myself have noticed that also.. I used to pig out on pizza, fries andy junk food I could get my hands on constantly.. Since doing low carbing I find it bothers me if I even have them as a reward meal. I crave my low carb foods more now and am totally satisfied after I eat. If I eat very high carb in the daytime I find I'm hungry all day long.
