My wedding, 19 years ago, was a disaster. My mother took over and controlled the whole thing. It was NOT the wedding I wanted, I did NOT wear the gown I wanted, and she even went so far as to have my hair touched up in the final formal pictures because she didn't like it!!! http://www.diettalk.com/uub//mad.gif

Next year will be my 20th anniversary. :) That is phenomenal, isn't it? What I want to do is have a small, intimate and very meaningful ceremony in my home with my very dearest friends who I love and who love me. I want to wear a long skin-tight lace gown with a high neck, but plunging neckline with long sleeves. It will be ivory with heavy lace. I will walk out and feel like a gorgeous bride for ONCE in my life! And my husband will fall to his knees and cover his eyes becuase my beauty will be so dazzling to him! :D

I have 11 months to pull this off! This is an image I've had in my mind for YEARS. And guess what? It is going to be MINE! I DESERVE THIS! I WANT THIS! IT'S MINE!!!

Tim and I have lived together for oh I lost track lol - awhile ( think like 3 yrs now ) and he keeps wanting to get married.
I just keep putting it off - no special reason. Well ok there is..... I don't want to get married weighing 230 lbs !
In my previous marrage I did not get to do things my way either.( plus I was fat ) I will join you in this quest :)
