After being in bed for over a week and then going out of town, all the air is out of my balloon. I am sluggish, very unmotivated and ready to give up. I am certain I must have gained my weight back that I just lost and am now starting to get really upset. I see that you all have been backsliding too. Would you all like to post together to try to pull each other out of these slumps and into success again? Maybe have a one day challenge or something? I have been so embarassed to post here, feeling like this. I don't know how to get my groove back! HELP!!!

Where do you want to do this post...in challenges? Let me know, I'm there! ((((((((Joni))))))))) WELCOME HOME!!!

Hi Joni,

I too have been struggling to get back to program. I post and join all the challenges but i think I need to focus on one day at a time and get back to posting in the afternoon when I'm tired and bored and start grazing in the kitchen.

I would love to post back and forth under this topic with just a few people if that's okay with you.

I should do ok today since my husband is off and I'll have a break.

I'll check this post later.

Take Care,

Hope you guys get out of your slump soon! I think nearly everyone feels sluggish and unenthusiastic after a long illness. But, today is a new day! Make the most of it! :)
Best wishes to you all! :D

I always exercise in the morning. Once you get into the routine to just jump out of bed and on to the treadmill (or whatever), then it's just 2nd nature and you don't have to think about doing it.... you are already exercising even before you wake up. <G>

We all get tired and don't feel like doing what we should. Just drop the feeling and then go on. You have to regain your motivation.

You can do it!!!!!!

Hey, thanks you all! Today I walked around the block. That is l/3 of a mile. I had been almost up to 2 miles before I got sick. But its a start. Would you like to create a "One Day Challenge" under challenges, just stay right here, or we can email each other each day (I have an address just for dt! Its discomama7148@yahoo.com) I knew you all would come through. I know you want this as much as I do. Let's focus on one day at a time, turning our focus on doing SOMETHING each day that looks like our program until finally we are back in it! Boy, the key is to NEVER stop, isn't it?

Big, compassionate and grateful (((HUGS))) to you all!
Joni
