Why do we use the word fat in our topics. Fat is so gross, so morbid. Why not let us start using the word obese which is more human. To me fat is the product found in animals.. I don't know about you but I know myself I am no animal.. Ya think???? LOLOLOLOLOL :)

Joanne...hate to tell ya buddy, but you are an animal. Humans are animals...we're not vegetable or mineral. And that layer of stuff below the skin..is FAT.

joanne I know it hurts to admit it but fat is fat there is no pretty way of saying it. Why is it so hard to say, why do we have to sugar coat it (chubby, chunky, obese, overweight, heavy, large) we are FAT. I dont like it but it is the truth, I wish I were SKINNY not (thin, slim, tiny, little, etc.. ) but SKINNY. This is just my opinion, dont take offense.

I am fat and I know it but I would not like someone else besides myself calling me that.

My family uses the term "weight challenged"

One day we decided we werent fat just too short for our weight.

I would say we are sugar coating it really, just joking about it. If you cant joke about things that bother you it will eat away at you, my weight bothers me. Not until 3.5 months ago though did I decide to do somethinng about it. In 15 weeks I have lost 47.4 pounds. I am still fat.

I for one have never liked the term obese, for some reason obese to me meant 500+ lbs. Finally it did sink in that anything over like 180 for a 5'5" woman is obese, a wee strict I think

180 pound person is not fat, many 200 pound people to me are not fat, some are. I an 226.6 I was 274 a few months, to be honest I knew I was fat but never liked to think about it.

Words are preferences. Some are okay with fat others arent. Just like swearing. To me swearing includes a whole array of words mostly 4 letters. To my husband swearing is only the F word and using the lords name in vain, Its a preference each of us have.

I am okay with fat and reading about fat and saying at that weight its fat, but called to my face I think I couldnt handle it.
