I erased your messages because in my experience, when someone says "email me and I'll tell you my secret to weight loss", it usually means they want to sell you something.

Why not post the "secret" to the board on how you lost the weight? We are here to share ideas, suggestions, secrets, and even our troubles.

If I was wrong to pull you messages, I'm sorry. As I said above, "email me..." usually means.. I want to sell you something".

I don't sensor the boards for attitudes but I will be strong on what I think are people who are trying to sell products.

Note to Everyone:
This board and all of the other diettalk boards are not to be used to promote a product. Its a policy that I want to remain strick on.

Thank you John. I appreciate that you monitor this board so closely. Other boards I've been on are sometimes inundated with people trying to sell things. It may not be the case with Lehua but I appreciate your policy of "when in doubt..."

I've been a Diettalker for almost a year now, and like John says, experience has taught us that when someone says "e-mail me" they usually have a product to sell. Even if you are a person who lost weight on this product, many of us have been "down that road" way too many times and don't want to go there again.

Of course, I can only speak for myself in this. I admire your courage to ask why your messages were removed, and applaud John for keeping all the boards monitored.
