O.K., Well I know there are consiquences to purging(throwing-up) but there are if you don't also. Think of this as alternative dieting, it's not new, it's not accepted, but why not? If you seriously don't have control over your eating, then the alternative is weight gain right? Well, this is another alternative. Your damned if you do damned if you don't. So if you sit back and whine all day of being overweight, have you tried this? Not every meal, don't puke up the nutritious stuff, but enjoy yourself and binge at least once a week. It is good advice, try it.

Again I say, you are entitled to your opinion. I don't agree with you, but you are still entitled to your opinion.

My opinion is this:

If certain behaviours or stresses in my life have caused me to allow myself to binge at times and gain weight, adding another obsessive compulsive behavior to the list is probably not a good idea.

I have lost 90 pounds in the last 10 months by eating 1500 calories of balanced food a day, enjoyed every bite, and did not "purge" any of it, other than through the process of natural elimination.

Okay okay Purger.. Go find yourself a good life. We are gonna see to it that you are never allowed on this bulletin again. You are one sick cookie. If you think purging is good for you then go ahead and do it but don't try and talk anyone else into it. We here at diettalk are pretty level headed people and know what works for us. AND PURGING ISN'T ONE OF THEM............
