DON’T BE YOUR WORST ENEMY

As you walk though this journey, you will face obstacles every day
You must over come them one by one, unfortunately there is no other way

Don’t be your worst enemy by beating yourself with being negative
The greatest weapon you have to defeat these obstacles is to be positive

Obstacles come in many different forms, often waiting for us to fall
I don’t have to tell you what they are, some are big and some are small

You must take control of what what ever it is that makes you fear
Make a plan that you can live with, and keep you body moving in gear

Remember you know what most food taste like, you’ve had it before
Food is not your enemy, you are if you let it consume you, that's for sure

Its not your family or your friends or your life that is your enemy
Its the overwhelming feeling that heavy is all you were ever meant to be

If you allow anyone or any thing to stand in your way it is your fault
You can’t continue blaming others, your moods, your day or food with salt

Taking one day and one meal at a time, baby steps is the best way
Become your own best friend, then you will defeat any obstacle today
