I've been doing real well the past several weeks. I haven't lost any weight but I have built up muscle and I have lost inches around my waist. I will have to measure, I guess.

I'm been eating smart.

1) exercising in the morning.
2) cereal/juice or yogurt/juice and applesauce for breakfast.
3) salad for lunch (most of the time)
4) Good sensible dinner with a vegetable.

Today, I left a good bit of the stuff on top (bacon, cheese, ect...) and ate all the other stuff. I actually left food on the table. Now that I've been really cutting down on my portions, I just can't eat what they give me anymore.

sounds like you are making really great progress john. its wonderful when you can actually leave food on the plate as you feel full.

Good for you, John! Sounds like you are forming some great habits to take you into the future.

My theory is that if you are eating smart, the numbers will eventually take care of themselves.

Whatever the scale says, you know you getting in better shape. Good for you
