Helloooo! I'm here. By the way, your quote always reminds me of another "Trekish" quote (not related to dieting) that one of my co-workers used to append to his email.

"What we have here is a failure to assimilate"<br />- Cool Hand Locutus

LOL... Thats funny.

How are you doing on your diet?

I'm doing pretty well, if I could get rid of this "semi cold". I just barely have it and its zapping all my energy and my motivation. Right now, I'm just trying to remain even.

I understand how not feeling well can really mess you up your schedule. I had a couple of weeks in October where I was mostly laying around and eating too much. I was battling a kidney stone and lost all motivation to diet and exercise. It is funny how I always forget how crappy I feel after eating alot of junk food (you know what they say about hindsight). Anyway, I have been back on track the last couple of weeks and am feeling much better (I had to have the stone removed...ouch!).

It appears that you are hovering around goal weight. I imagine that the last few pounds are very stubborn. I have lost about 25 pounds since I started getting serious about dieting again a few months ago. I still have about 75 to go.

Have you been following the new Star Trek series? So far I like it, but the theme song still seems odd to me.

Those last 5 just do not want to go...

I have been watching although I keep missing beginning part of the shows because I'm not use to having it on at 8am. A song with a singer. First time, isn't it?

Same here, I often have caught the show several minutes late because of the time change. The song is not awful, it is just not very "Trekish" (compared to all of the other series). It is hard for me to imagine that this song will one that every trekkie would recognize after a couple of notes (or work very well in a desktop theme <img src="smile.gif" border="0"> ). But who knows...
