hi, Jo
Your link doesn't work (for me), but the cached version is cached which does show the webpage.

ps. Speaking of approaches for older people, if you like gadgets I just acquired a Garmin Forerunner [ame="http://www.amazon.com/Garmin-Forerunner-Receiver-Heart-Monitor/dp/B000CSWCQA"]305[/ame] (heart rate monitor & GPS wristwatch like gadget, extremely sophisticated, though you need to wear the chestband for the HRM to work).
In combination with being able to "see" your route with the help of Google 'maps', I find it very motivating for taking my brisk walks to 'the next level' (I wear a weighted backpack to make it easier to get into a low 'aerobic zone'). While it's officially meant for "runners", I'm way too apprehensive of joint damage if I were to start jogging/running late in life. So brisk walking suffices for me and my goal is for good mood control and bone health (and walking keeps me away from the fridge and burns a few calories).
I also kinda like gadgets, and this one's a beaut, though the weak point is the rubber covered buttons are unlikely to last a decade so I use a 'finger' from a vinyl coated glove when checking the settings in the hope that that will prolong my new gadget's lifespan.
The happiest people don't have the best of everything, they just make the best of everything.

Hi, r-D:
That is an interesting gadget. I am fascinated by the technology that is available to us all these days.
I had looked up HRM gadgets once some time back, but decided that I really didn't need one. At least not at the present time.
Have fun with your Garmin Forerunner.

I visited to your shared link today. It is really interesting one .I can't imagine that these olders can do this much. There efforts make them younger by heart. There are some tips are given in this shared link to be younger always.
Really nice article. I go through the given links. The work done by older people is really to be appreciating. Really their are given great efforts. The younger people should learn some thing from them.
As I get older it sure is obvious losing weight is just not the same. Easier to put on and harder to remove as the years pass. More patience is key I guess... and consistency.
